The project “Real-Time Fault Detection and Remaining Useful Life Estimation System for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles”, developed by AI2X, introduces an AI-powered technology poised to transform the defense industry. This presentation will detail how our multi-sensor system, integrated into fixed-wing UAVs, leverages LSTM, CNN, and Autoencoder algorithms to perform real-time fault detection and predictive maintenance. By employing adaptive thresholding and risk analysis during flight, the system provides critical alerts through anomaly detection, thereby maximizing mission safety and operational continuity. Particularly effective in long-duration and demanding missions, this innovation enhances UAV reliability, reduces mission cancellation risks, and enables cost-efficient maintenance strategies.
